The robot takeover is underway, but it is much more subtle than in the movie Terminator. Automation, machine learning and artificial intelligence (collectively “The Robots”) are already beginning to do many tasks that kept lots of humans employed in the accounting profession. This course will identify the threats posed by The Robots and give you several practical ways to not just survive the robot take over, but to use the robot takeover to advance your career and differentiate your firm.

• Learn several examples of how automation, machine learning and artificial intelligence (collectively “The Robots”) are impacting various professions, including the accounting profession.


• Compare different strategies accountants are using to capitalize on the changes created by The Robots.


• Review seven competencies accountants can develop that The Robots can’t duplicate.


• Identify three aspects of problem solving that humans can do more effectively than The Robots.
