Duke Mills began his career in the insurance industry in 1988 as a Property and Casualty agent working in General Lines agencies. In 1997, Duke started WorkComp Solutions, Inc., and has built a strong team of workers’ comp professionals who believe in challenging the status quo and thinking differently. In 2007, he launched Wrap-Up Experts and published “The Contractor’s Survival Guide to Wrap-Ups”.

WorkComp Solutions, Inc. focuses exclusively on workers’ compensation for mid to large size employers. The company assists employers in building and implementing Cost Containment Programs to drive down workers’ compensation costs through aggressive claims management, experience modification analysis, classification verification, contract negotiations and strategic consulting.

Our agency’s Premium Recovery Program has returned over $15,000,000 to businesses across the United States.  We review workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto policies, finding an estimated 80% error rate.

In the course of the last several years, Duke has traveled from Laguna Beach California to Ashville, North Carolina teaching Insurance agents about workers’ compensation. Duke has been published in over 10 construction trade journals and is commonly asked to speak on ways to reduce the cost of workers’ compensation for trade associations.
