Brian is responsible for a variety of strategic growth initiatives for both Mariner Wealth Advisors and Mariner Platform Solutions. In addition, Brian works closely with teams across the country to raise awareness of the firm’s resources, capabilities and strategic initiatives. Brian is a frequent speaker for a variety of industry events. Brian is also host to many of the firm’s video series, including Your Questions, Answered.
Prior to joining Mariner Wealth Advisors in 2010, Brian was a director at UBS Financial, where he worked with ultra-high-net-worth clients and oversaw planning for the $2MM-$10MM market. While in that role, he advised the firm’s wealthiest clients on heavily concentrated equity positions, philanthropic planning and wealth transfer strategies. Before joining UBS, Brian was a consultant in the Financial Planning and Tax Services department of Ernst & Young, LLP, where he provided investment and tax strategies to individual and corporate clients.
Brian has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta and a master’s degree in taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
